On 29 December 2025, we had the pleasure of welcoming a group of visitors from Japan to Txakoli Uriarte. They came to discover our winery, our vineyards and the tradition surrounding txakoli in the Basque Country first-hand.

The group was accompanied by an interpreter, allowing everyone to follow the explanations and learn in detail about our winemaking process, the history of the winery and the characteristics that make the txakoli from our land unique.

During the tour, the visitors showed great interest in Basque culture, local customs and the work we carry out every day at the winery. The exchange of experiences and curiosities made the visit especially enriching for everyone involved.

The day continued in a very pleasant atmosphere, sharing conversations, impressions and moments that made the afternoon and evening an unforgettable experience. The group’s warmth and enthusiasm for discovering our gastronomy and winemaking tradition helped create a truly special atmosphere.

Txakoli Uriarte is always proud to welcome visitors from different countries and show them the cultural and gastronomic richness of our surroundings. These gatherings allow us to share our passion for txakoli and take the name of our land beyond our borders.
