TXAKOLI URIARTE
Invoicing and tax details
How the information needed to prepare the final invoice is requested, stored and used.
1. The request is not an invoice
Checkout sends a non-binding request to the winery. The confirmation page, internal request number and automated WooCommerce emails are summaries, but they are not tax invoices and do not by themselves prove that the purchase has been concluded or paid.
2. Requesting an identified invoice
The interested person may select “Request an invoice with tax details”. When they identify as a business or self-employed person, the system activates this request. If no identified invoice is requested, there is no need to provide a tax identification number on the website.
3. Information requested
To prepare an identified invoice, the shop records customer type, tax name or company name, tax identification number, invoice email and tax address. The tax address may be confirmed as the delivery address or entered separately. No image or copy of an identity document is requested.
4. Accuracy and correction
The requester must check that their tax information is accurate and complete. Any correction may be sent to tienda@txakoli-uriarte.com before the final invoice is issued. Errors in tax name, identification or address may require a corrective invoice later.
5. Issuing the final invoice
The invoice will be issued only after the winery confirms availability, the interested person accepts the proposal and the purchase is concluded. It will be generated from the winery’s invoicing system in accordance with applicable tax rules. The online shop stores and transfers the necessary information but does not replace the winery’s official invoicing system.
6. Financial content
The final invoice will show the amounts finally confirmed: products, applicable discounts, delivery, preparation, transport insurance where selected and confirmed, taxable amount, VAT rate and amount, and total. If delivery or insurance was provisional in the request, the final amount accepted before conclusion of the purchase will be used.
7. Use and retention of tax information
The information is used to handle the request, conclude the purchase, issue the invoice and meet accounting, tax and customer-service obligations. It may be disclosed to the winery’s adviser, invoicing provider and public authorities where necessary. It will be retained for legally required periods and processed in accordance with the privacy policy.
8. Businesses and professionals
Where the recipient acts as a business or professional, the winery may request additional information needed for the invoice or for any legally applicable electronic format. The invoice format and delivery channel will be confirmed when the purchase is concluded.
