Txakoli Uriarte at Gernika’s traditional Last Monday of October Fair

On 27 October, Txakoli Uriarte took part in Gernika’s Last Monday of October Fair, one of the most important and representative events in the region’s festive and agricultural calendar.

Every year, thousands of people attend this historic fair to enjoy local products, discover the work of producers and baserritarras, and keep alive traditions that form part of Basque cultural identity.

As usual, Txakoli Uriarte took part by offering txakoli and gildas to everyone who visited our stall. Throughout the day, many visitors had the opportunity to taste our products and share a day of celebration and togetherness with us.

The atmosphere was excellent from the start, with a large turnout and a notable presence of baserritarras, the protagonists of a fair that remains a benchmark for the food and agriculture sector and for traditional Basque culture.

Our winery is proud to take part in events that are so deeply rooted in our land, where the work of local producers is valued and a tradition passed down from generation to generation is kept alive.

We would like to thank everyone who visited our stall during the fair and helped create such a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout the day.

We will continue taking part in gatherings like this, which allow us to share our txakolis and strengthen our connection to our culture and roots.
